The rifle's lines are free of kinks and make unloading and reloading easy and fluid, while the trigger guard is rounded to facilitate precise positioning of the trigger guard. In front of the trigger guard, there is a Picatinny rail integrated into the frame, allowing for easy mounting of laser devices, lighting systems or other accessories. Intended to compete in the lucrative polymer frame market, sales of police and civilian personal protective equipment are a target for the storm. Beretta claims that the Hurricane is one of the greatest manifestations of technology and beauty. The Px4 Storm is a unique gun with great features. Using a torque instead of a tilting barrel for locking is by no means a new concept. John Moses Browning patented a rotating barrel design before 1900. Browning's tilting barrel lock-breech design became the most common type of lock in the world, but the rotating barrel had limited success. Be warned that rifles require more lubrication than conventional designs. This was not my feeling and I keep my personal shower clean and lubricated. The Hurricane, like any other Beretta, should be reliable when properly maintained.
The Hurricane offers better ergonomics than other handguns. The action is basically Beretta 92. The rotating barrel was taken from the Beretta 8000 pistol and its operating principles were verified. The integration of the design comes out well. Beretta pistols are known for their reliability and the Hurricane lives up to that reputation. The light frame uses state-of-the-art thermoplastic technology using glass fiber reinforced with technopolymer. The modular structure and the availability of three sizes of grips for different hand sizes make it very versatile.
The Hurricane uses a Picatinny MILSTD-1913 rail to attach tactical lights and laser sighting equipment. The gun also has a firing pin block. The front of the firing pin is blocked from any forward movement until the trigger is fully pulled back. The barrier is at the back, away from the filth and debris in front of the wreck. Since the block is visible, you can determine the correct operation at any time. Even if the gun is dropped and the ground cable is dropped, the firing pin will not hit the primer.
Ambidextrous safety lever is spring loaded so it is either "on" or "off". The safety lever also acts as a trigger for the rifle. In depression, the rear part of the firing pin rotates in alignment with the front part of the firing pin. The end is the battle-proven Bruniton finish. The unloading levers are familiar to anyone who has used a Glock pistol.

My personal hurricane is the .45 ACP for my favorite caliber. Despite the ammo shortage, I have .45 ACP ammo more than anything else and have spent a lot of money testing this gun - I also have handloads and you should too!
Avoiding the storm is easy. Note the ejector lever on the front of the starter protector. The basic system has been used in various hand tools since the 1950s.
The Hurricane weighs only 29 ounces, much lighter than a Colt 1911 .45 or the mighty 92 9mm. The bore axis is higher than the 1911 - the recoil makes the barrel higher in the air - not difficult to control, but there is a difference. The Beretta 92 is comparatively docile, but the 9mm is not the .45. You can use the wound ballistics in .45 ACP with the PX4 Storm. The rotation of the gun is more visible than that of the Model 92. Rotating the barrel is the opposite of firing a bullet in the gun. The barrel rotates to the right and the knee pushes to the left eg.
One oddity of the design is that high-velocity bullets are definitely more accurate. When the muzzle flip is visible, the gun is ready to fire. A 10-shot .45 caliber pistol is reliable and accurate enough for most jobs. Beretta's rotating barrel pistols paid off, offering a viable alternative to competing designs.
